Emerging pop artist, MAHEA released her debut single, “Let Me Down Easy,” on iTunes and all music streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music, as well as Amazon and Google Play. The island-pop fusion song was written and produced by Adam John of Adam John Music, who’s works have been featured on major networks such as ABC and CBS, and major TV series “Outlander” and “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
“Let Me Down Easy” is the first single off of MAHEA’s debut EP. The song is a reggae/island influenced pop song, with lyrics that describe the familiar feeling of being in a failing relationship, and asking for mercy throughout the breakup.
MAHEA’s musical background started from a young age, as she was constantly surrounded by the stage, spotlight, and other entertainers. Some of her musical influences include Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and Celine Dion. She also gained inspiration from local Hawaii artists, such as Kolohe Kai and Anuhea.
“MAHEA’s voice belies her age. Its mature, sassy and resonates with confidence in her debut release “Let Me Down Easy,” Jack James, the CEO of Madison Broadcasting Company says. “The lyrics and MAHEA’s delivery will find the charts the day it’s released.”
