They may only be a trio but prepare to be blown away by the huge stadium-filling sound of Primyl Vinyl, their new single, Baby Steps cementing them as THE UK rock band to take notice of in 2020. Although their ferociously hard-hitting live antics may temporarily be postponed, rest assured that the band have pulled out all the stops with Baby Steps, a titanic combination of riffs, electronic earthquakes and an epic singalong chorus. Assemble your socially responsible mosh-pits wherever you are!

Though currently mourning the loss, via a puncture wound, of their inflatable whale mascot Jeremy, who was an ever-present unofficial fourth member throughout their 2019 gigs, the band recorded their latest track in an old barn to capture the reverb and energy of their live shows. Though Jeremy is but a memory, Primyl Vinyl are in it for the long term.

Formed whilst they were at university in Liverpool, Primyl Vinyl are now liberally spread out across the UK in Peterborough (Matt, lead vocals and guitar), Fareham (Steve, vocals and lead guitar) and Barrow-in-Furness (Nahum, drummer and vocalist) but when they unite, all hell breaks loose! Primyl Vinyl create their songs as both a unifying experience for their legions of fans across the UK and to help dealcathartically with individual mental health issues, as well as wider social anxieties, with Baby eps fusing their irresistible rawk with a message to stay grounded, whatever is happening around you.

Having witnessed first-hand the internal mental battles of two people very close to me, I started to write more consciously to open this topic up - to make it feel more normal to discuss; to make our gigs feel like asanctuary to reflect and then to forget it for 40 minutes. Music has to mean something to somebody, or else what is the point?” - Matt

With a twin Gibson guitar attack, synth triggers and massive three-part harmonies, when Primyl Vinyl aren’t playing live or recording, they can be variously found racing classics cars, thematic poetry and rating the UK’s bridges (need a bridge reviewing? Nominate here!
