FLAMES EYE - MAMA WORK HARDEST
Flames Eye pays homage to all feminine energy, offering a gift to Mamas this Mother’s Day (10 May), with his latest single ‘Mama Work Hardest’, produced by Redwood Dub (Belgium).
This latest single is a heartfelt expression based on his experience growing up with his mother caring for her 5 children on her own in the hills of Clarendon, Jamaica.
The song depicts a picture of a mother in her daily life; working hard, coming from the market, cooking, washing, tidying the house, looking after children, giving birth and always loving and caring. It is an acknowledgement of how mothers often have to make choices about work and home-life and how they balance so many responsibilities.
“A more feminine, maternal and spiritual view of life is coming. With all that’s been going in the world today, we must remember how precious the breath of life is, and who we came from – our own mothers and Mama Earth,” Flames Eye said.
