SISA ME - BITTER RECOGNIZE FEAT. JESSICA MCINTYRE
Sisa Me will release their new single "Bitter Recognize feat. Jessica McIntyre" on February 12th, 2021. It´s single is the fourth release from Sisa Mes debut EP "Seeing The Good In The Bad“.
“Bitter Recognize” is actually based on a remake of iLLBiLLY HiTECs song Better Recognize, which was produced by Alexander Brechow and Jesse “Dubmatix” King. For this new version, the band teamed up with the German-British television actress Jessica McIntyre, whose musical roots in the Hamburg Dub scene playing with the Sam Ragga Band, that also supported German hip hop star Jan Delay (Absolute Beginner) for his Reggae album project. The song moves between ambient, rock and pop. Jessicas lyrics are a mix out of the soul and spoken word, dark and inspired by the #metoo movement.
Sisa Me is a collective of Berlins finest indie- and reggae musicians and producers such as Gidon Carmel (Children, Alberta Cross, Amistat), Alexander Brechow (illbilly Hitec) or Claudio Jolowicz (Bitty McLean, Ken Booth, Magic Touch). They are here to bring the organic back into pop music. Melodic hooks backed by a full horn section, jagged guitars and heavy bass form a genre-bending cocktail of singer-songwriter pop and dub, free from pigeon holes and labels.
