UK Melodic Rapper Leoscappin to Release New EP, ‘Alienated’
Surrey-based rapper Leoscappin is to release his new EP, Alienated on 5th February, a mighty slab of US rap from the heart of leafy England from an Asian artist! An actor, as well as a musical artist, Leoscappin’s EP, is a rallying cry to anyone who has felt disaffected or ostracised to believe in themselves no matter what.
Growing up in Sao Paolo, Brazil with Japanese heritage but now firmly settled in England, it’s the sound of American melodic hip-hop which influences Leoscappin’s sound, combining chilled beats and his effortless vocals to create tracks which wrap themselves around you and don’t let go.
“I try to make all my songs have a different feeling and vibe. Some will make you think about your life, others are just for parties and some are just me trying to tell a story. I usually have an idea as soon as I listen to the beat and will follow through with that for the whole song, meaning if I don’t vibe with the beat in the first few seconds I’ll just move on”.
